John Singer Sargent’s landscapes are underrated. 👀 Sargent, who was a superstar of Gilded Age portraiture on both sides of the Atlantic, found himself increasingly weary of the demands of that high-profile life in the early 1900s. He even went so far as to announce he was "shutting up shop in the portrait line," to focus more on landscapes. And here's the thing: his landscapes are imbued with the same dazzling variety of brushwork that made his portraits so vibrant. Take a look at his “En route pour la pêche” painting, for example. The way he captures sunlight and deep shadows in that seaside scene—it’s nothing short of brilliant. Jalapeño Popper Chicken Salad 🔥 Great for meal prep! High protein, low calorie, doesn’t need heated, and is ready in minutes! Like, save & tag a friend who would love this! You’ll need: 1 5oz can chunk chicken breast (can also use rotisserie or chicken you cook and shred) 50g non fat plain Greek yogurt 21g (2tbsp) whipped cream cheese 28g fat free or reduced fat shredded cheddar cheese (I used ff) 7g bacon bits 10g green onion 14g hot & sweet jalapeños (Mt Olive or TJ’s- can also use regular jalapeños) Salt & pepper to taste How to make: Dice jalapeños so they’re smaller chunks. Drain can of chicken and add to a bowl with rest of ingredients. I also add a splash of the jalapeño juice for extra flavor 👌🏻 Mix well, serve with lavash chips, carrots, on a wrap, in lettuce wraps, salad, lite bread... so versatile! Store in airtight container in refrigerator. Perfect for meal prep too! Makes one serving of chicken salad Macros: 290 calories- 41p/11c/9f For the chips I make them from Joseph’s Lavash bread. Cut lavash into triangles, spray with cooking spray, then add salt. Bake on 400 for 6 minutes. Once cool, they are crispy. For the whole “lunch box” I made: 1 serving or chicken salad, 1/2 lavash wrap chips, and 1 serving carrots for 395 calories: 48p/27c/10.5f
