🐾 WE’RE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS! 🐍
Ready Set Rescue & Critter Worx are growing, and we’re looking for dependable, hardworking volunteers who genuinely care about animals and want to become part of what we’re building. ❤️
Whether you’re looking to gain hands-on experience, learn more about rescue and exotic animal care, help your community, or simply give your time to something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.
This isn’t just about getting to hold cool animals.
It’s cleaning p**p. 💩
Scrubbing enclosures. 🧹
Preparing food.
Giving medications. 💊
Helping animals through recovery.
Learning proper husbandry.
Working with snakes, reptiles, birds, mammals, and other exotics. 🐍🦎🦜
Helping with events, educational programs, and guests.
And most importantly — showing up when the animals are depending on you.
Experience is always a plus, but it isn’t everything.
We can teach animal care. What matters most to us is reliability, patience, a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and someone who truly cares about doing things the right way.
For someone serious about animal care, rescue, education, or eventually working professionally with animals, this can be a great opportunity to gain real hands-on experience and grow with our organization.
As Ready Set Rescue & Critter Worx continue to grow, dedicated volunteers may also be considered for future paid positions when openings become available. Volunteering does not guarantee employment, but it gives us a chance to get to know the people who believe in this mission as much as we do.

Green Tree Pythons aren’t typically known for being handleable, which makes Evie a truly special ambassador for her species. She helps us teach visitors about these incredible snakes and their natural behaviors. 🌿🐍

This weekend was more than an opening. It was the moment everything we’ve worked for finally came to life. 💚
Hundreds of people walked through our doors, supported our animals, listened to their stories, and reminded us exactly why we started this in the first place.
To everyone who showed up, shared our posts, told a friend, brought your family, donated, or simply believed in what we’re building — thank you. Truly.
We have so much more ahead of us. More animals to help. More stories to tell. More people to educate. More dreams we’re determined to bring to life.
