4 more days until the Tex-Mex Shootout!! Track is looking great!!! A few more days of watering and the moisture base will be just right!!

5 more days until the Tex-Mex Shootout !!! Another day closer and a lot more time spent watering!!! Leaving the track later and later as we get closer to race day.

6 days until Round 3 of the 2026 Tex-Mex Shootout series, here at Amarillo Raceway Park!!! But you only have to wait 5 days until the track opens for practice!!!! That means water, water and more water going down on the brand new layout built by Mykael Amos.

1 week away from the Tex-Mex Shootout! Watering process is well underway!!

Rope install is done!!! A few showed up at 8am and got started about 8:10am and it is done!! Did I mention that it goes quick with just a few people? Thank you to everyone who showed up! It is greatly appreciated!!!

Rope install party will be Saturday morning at 8:30am. Just want to make sure we have enough help to get it knocked out. All help is greatly appreciated!! Might want to bring some gloves. Way easier than pipe and goes quick….

Was able to get most of the sides of jumps and elevation changes, raked and smoothed out this weekend. Looks like we should ready to put the rope back in place whenever we can get a decent size group of people. I know weeknights are tough so we can plan Friday night (July 31) about 7pm? Saturday morning (August 1) or Saturday night about 7pm? Whichever we can get the most people would definitely be beneficial.

We are 2 weeks away from the TEX-MEX SHOOTOUT series stop at Amarillo Raceway Park! The new layout will be done by Mykael Amos . Track will open for practice on Friday, August 7th! The Tex-Mex Shootout series qualifiers will be Saturday, August 8th! Mains will be held on Sunday, August 9th! (Details on race flyer).

Also in the next week or next weekend we could use some help to move the rope back out on the track. It took 8 people about an hour or so, last time. The more people, the quicker and easier it will be.
