Garren was featured on Harrington Cancer and Health Foundation for Panhandle Gives in November. This organization has so many resources for kids and adults in navigating a scary diagnosis.

Meet Garren, a resilient 19-year-old, who, despite facing unimaginable trials, stands as a true survivor.

At 15, he endured severe burns, displaying remarkable bravery through eight weeks of wound care and a skin graft surgery. However, in 2021, frequent headaches and double vision led to a life-altering discovery—a brain tumor.

Diagnosed with Pineal Germinoma, Garren faced brain surgery, lumbar punctures, chemotherapy, and a five-week radiation journey. Supported by his close-knit family, Garren emerged victorious, declared cancer-free in April 2022! Now, pursuing Biblical studies, Garren aspires to be a pastor, driven by his faith that helped see him through some of the darkest times in his life.
