BREAKING: Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby is reportedly entering his name in the NFL’s Supplemental Draft.
Despite a judge declaring via an injunction that he’d be able to play this fall, the legal mess that followed has led Sorsby to reportedly make the decision to head to the NFL, and forgo any attempts to play for Texas Tech.

A packed potpourri of storylines into Sunday at the OccuNet Classic ... to say the least!
• 36-year-old Zack Fischer, a two-time medalist at Final Stage of Q-School (but when TOUR cards were NOT awarded), leads by four strokes as he chases his first Korn Ferry Tour title in his 171st start.
• Ryo Ishikawa, a 20-time Japan Golf Tour winner, eyes his first TOUR-sanctioned title at age 34. He shares second place with Alvaro Ortiz, winner of last month's UNC Health Championship, who is going for his second win in three starts.
• YouTube golf enthusiast Andrew Kozan, 175th on the Points List and without a top-45 finish this season, shares fourth place into Sunday as he looks to salvage his season.
• Three PGA TOUR University alums share sixth place in their pro debut: Texas Longhorns alum Tommy Morrison, Oklahoma Men's Golf alum Jase Summy, and SMU Mustangs alum William Sides. They're six off the lead into Round 4.
• If that's not all, local hero and Amarillo city champion Wyatt Provence will play in Sunday's penultimate grouping after carding a third-round 63 as a single Saturday morning.
How can you not be romantic about the Korn Ferry Tour?
