Been having a ton of fun hiking in the morning at with .a and our Matty-saurus!!! I’ve always preferred getting cardio with a view 😁

And the lower bluff trail has signs with cool facts along the way! Like how one rock formation is more than 200 million years old! 🤯

As director of publishing for Blue Handle Publishing, I read a LOT of manuscripts, and we end up publishing far fewer than I consume.

This one, OMG! Did I Just Time-Travel?! by Molly Silver, is one that made it through, and I am so, SO excited that it's finally releasing today. To celebrate, here is the letter I wrote that was published in the front of the advance readers copies that were sent out.

Dear Reader,

I finished reading this novel through tears. Then I immediately wrote Molly an email, hoping that the project was still available for me to acquire.

Thankfully, it was.

The story you hold is, on the surface, about a teenage cheerleader who falls through a portal into the past. And while OMG! is absolutely the fun adventure its premise promises, this book also grabs your heartstrings and plays them like a Fender.

Many a novelist have tried to accomplish that feat—including the one writing you this letter—and I’m here to tell you that Molly did it.

With her debut.

The key to accomplishing this, of course, is crafting characters worth crying over. You’ll find several of them in these pages, including and especially our protagonists, Lydia and Kelly. Individually and as a pair, these two will become your new best friends.

And, though these characters and their story will live in your head rent-free for a LONG time, you may find yourself turning the final page in only a day or two.

After you do, I would love to hear your thoughts. My hope is that you fall in love with this novel as much as I have.
