The Mother Road, Route 66, celebrates 100 years with celebrations just a few days away on the iconic sixth street in Amarillo. Celebrate by collecting one of my shields at Arts in the Sunset this weekend. Come by for First Friday June 5, 5 to 9 p.m. and look in the Owl Works Gift Shop. Online, too, at leona-intheclay.com
