Unfortunately I have made the decision to cancel the giveaway and refund the money to all participants, as in general there seemed to be a lack of interest.
To those that did participate, I really do appreciate your generosity and support, and I am sorry things didn’t go as intended. You should have already received your refunds via PayPal, and as a consolation prize you guys will receive early access to the Garage Rework as that is the first slated mod release.
For the sake of transparency, here is where I currently sit with things. The Garage Rework is sitting at approximately 90% completion and the goal was to have a release around the 1st of April. But that has now been pushed back to an undetermined date.
I have talked with multiple individuals over the last several months about how to go about this new era of Jab Modshop, and it was highly recommended that I establish an LLC for legal protection purposes before I release anything. The giveaway was intended to help me raise the funds for that, because here is a current breakdown of my personal financial situation. Back in January I was elected to be the local chapter president of a nonprofit organization in my community, and as a result I am now required to do some traveling to conferences and what not throughout this year. Most of the expenses associated with said travel are either tax deductible or are reimbursed by the organization, but again that takes time to receive those reimbursements or tax benefits. So at the moment I don’t really have the funds to just toss into a this Jab Modshop stuff because they are currently being utilized elsewhere. Please bear with me and when I can cover the associated costs with this stuff, we will proceed as intended.
Thank you,
Jab

SCS Dryvan/Reefer rework for the mega map is done in my books. There may be some tiny tweaks and adjustments done in the future, but overall they look great for what they are. Every unit is paintable/skinable and a couple of them have the choice of painted or chrome trim. Not pictured but also included will be a couple of different sideskin options, as well as almost all the accessory options that are on the standard SCS trailer.

Good morning everyone, so after doing some testing last night, the Garage Rework no longer works with the 1.58 update due to some changes that SCS made during the implementation of their new garages.
So what does the mean for the future of the mod?
Well it has already been stated that I am changing up things with how Jab Modshop operates. It has also been stated that there will be an entirely new Garage Rework mod done and released when I get things ready. So moving forward the links to this now obsolete mod will be disabled as there are no plans to fix/update this specific version of the mod. I’m doing the best I can to get things done, but I’m a one man show and there’s several things that have to be done before I can release anything else, both mod work wise and “administrative” wise. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this may cause some of you, I currently do not have a timeline on anything, but please bear with me as I truly believe that it will be worth it in the long run.

Hard to believe it’s been 10 years. 👀
Who’s been playing ATS since release in 2016? Or what year did you start playing?
I got ATS the day it came out, but I’ve been around the truck sim community since the 18 WOS Haulin’ days. 😅

What are your thoughts on the new garages that scs will be bringing to the game in a future update? (of course that means I will have to step up my rework a bit more 😅)

I hope everyone has had a great holiday season and a good start to 2026. Here at Jab Modshop we have.
Here’s an update of where we stand on things:
- Garage Rework - I have opted to put things in relation to that on hold given during the SCS Christmas livestream it was teased that they are giving the garage system a facelift. I want to see what changes occur there first so I can precede with my project accordingly.
- CURRENT TBP Map - I have made the decision that the current version of the TBP map will not be updated. But the link will remain up until the map no longer functions ingame without causing major issues. This does not mean the end of the TBP brand, it’s just the end in its current format. Which takes me to the next topic of discussion.
- Mega Map - Last summer after contemplating the future of this page, I announced that I would start a “Mega Map” project (still do not have an official name for it). This map will include the TBP and Sooner Meats brands in new formats, the use of the grocery warehouse and dairy plants previously seen on this page, and the addition of many new brands as well. So where do I sit with this map? During the first part of this week I have wrapped up all the names and logos for the companies that will be featured in the map. The rework of the SCS re**er and livestock trailer that you’ve seen on this page are also intended for this map, you’ll be able to own them and use them, but the main goal was for ai traffic. These trailers are probably around ~90% complete at the moment. I’m also maybe around halfway through editing and modeling the main map models needed for the project as well. There is still a large amount of work that needs to go into this project in regard to doing defs, making skins, and doing the work in the map editor. But things are progressing nicely. The hope is to get this map done and released this year, but I don’t have a date as of yet.
So the question that I’ve been asked by a handful of people, “why do you not share many screenshots/progress updates on what I’m doing?” The answer is I don’t really want to spoil anything or have my work copied/ripped off like what I previously had happen during the development of the grocery warehouse that I ended up canceling the release of. I’ve shared snippets of the trailer reworks and what not, but at this point I really don’t have anything else to post until the map enters testing and there’s a release date in sight. With that being said yes this page does seem to sit dormant for weeks at a time and will continue to do so, but that doesn’t mean I’ve “given up” or “quit” I just don’t have anything to really post about.
I really do appreciate those who’ve stuck with me and who’ve offered up help and suggestions. I sound like a broken record when I say this, but I have big hopes for this stuff, and we’re gonna get there slowly but surely.
