Christopher Hogan Racing

We started off practice yesterday with a fast #81 legend car until the motor blew in the second practice. Thankfully we have great friends in Jamie and Austin Call that lent us their #18 car for the feature race (even if it was wrapped in Texas Tech colors 😆). After not having been in that car before we were able to make a few quick setup tweaks and started at the rear in 12th. We got by 9 cars and brought it home 3rd with the fastest lap of the race. Huge congrats to Evan Schwarz on his first win! We will be back at it again on October 18th at Houston Motorsports Park.

We had a successful night of racing at HMP Oval Track last night for Texas Boats & Outdoors and
SDC Auto Repair Double Headers. Christopher got a chance to hop in Jamie Call’s #9 legend for the first feature. After dialing in the setup throughout the day we found some speed and were able to pull off a 4th place finish even after encountering some issues with the ECU during the race. We pulled the #81 out of the trailer for the second race and without any laps on it we were able to bring it home 6th after starting at the rear.

Big thanks to Texas Independent Racing, Jamie Call, and Dane Schwarz for all they do to keep this series going. We are looking forward to the next one on September 20th.

Legends and Bandoleros kicked off their 2025 racing season at Houston Motorsports Park’s HMP Oval Track (TX) on Saturday, March 22, with their first INEX Racing Series sanctioned races in many years. Christopher Hogan picked up where he left off in 2024 with the Legends victory, and Jason Ferre Jr won the Bandolero feature. It was a great season opener at HMP. Christopher got his first win of 2025. The car count was awesome. Legends were the biggest class with 18 cars. It is like the old days of Legends racing now. Great job to Texas Independent Racing for building the class and becoming INEX sanctioned!!!!

The race got rained out but Christopher still got a trophy. He won the HMP Oval Track 2024 Legends class championship!!! So proud of all his hard work paying off with 7 wins. Can’t wait for next year!

Win #7. Christopher had a battle going on with Dane Schwarz, Evan Schwarz, and Alfred De Castillo. I love watching the close racing that was going on. The Legends are the most fun class to watch because everyone is so competitive. The class had 14 cars and it is still growing.
