We want to thank the Altoona Area School District for providing 275 students and 43 teachers yesterday, June 1, for the 13th Annual Toona Tune-up. The students and teachers visited Heritage Plaza, Gospel Hill, Prospect, Leopold, Greenwood, Valley View, Fairview, Juniata Memorial, Iuzzolino, Garfield and Garden Heights along with the Juniata Spray Park. The volunteers painted, pulled weeds and picked up trash at each place. We appreciate the help in making our parks a clean and safe environment for residents of all ages.
