This week's restaurant review takes us to O/B Slices in Alton, Illinois. Post-Dispatch restaurant critic Ian Froeb writes:

"For a novice chef, though, [chef/owner Deejay] Belden showcases a knack for both big swings and small touches. That slice with pineapple and sausage was the wildest pizza I tried here. The Princess P was a close second: thinly sliced peaches with salsiccia from STL Toasted on the Hill, smoked mozzarella, basil and those elegant blossoms of ricotta. Both pizzas are outstanding, finely tuned in their contrasts of sweet and spicy, salty and summery."
