SF₆ gas quality directly affects the performance and safety of gas-insulated switchgear. Accurate measurement of humidity, purity, and decomposition byproducts is essential before returning equipment to service.

The RH Systems 973-SF₆ Analyzer uses chilled mirror condensation technology to measure humidity (ppmv, ppmw, dew/frost point), SF₆ purity (% volume), and SO₂ decomposition with high accuracy and repeatable results.

An integrated gas recovery system captures sampled gas during measurement and pumps it back after testing, minimizing SF₆ emissions. Calibration is verifiable at any time using the built-in Ice Test function.

Designed in Gilbert, Arizona with 100% U.S.-based calibration and repair support.

ProgUSA supports RH Systems products with demonstrations, application guidance, and calibration coordination.

Corona discharge is one of the earliest indicators of insulation degradation on high voltage equipment. The problem is, it is invisible to the naked eye.

UViRCO's CoroCAM camera systems use solar-blind UV detection to make corona discharge visible in broad daylight, on energized equipment, without requiring an outage.

The CoroCAM range covers multiple inspection scenarios. The 6HD and 7HD provide handheld UV and HD visible imaging. The 8HD adds radiometric thermal IR for simultaneous corona and hot spot detection. The 8HD UAV brings the same combined capability to drone-mounted overhead inspections.

All systems inspect infrastructure operating at 3.3 kV and above, including insulators, bushings, connectors, and switchgear.

ProgUSA supports UViRCO products with demonstrations, application training, and U.S.-based technical support.

Meet Our Partner: RH Systems

RH Systems, based in Gilbert, Arizona, specializes in precision humidity and gas measurement technology with more than 25 years of industry experience.

For utility applications, the flagship product is the 973-SF₆ Gas Analyzer, designed to measure humidity, SF₆ purity, and SO₂ decomposition byproducts in gas-insulated switchgear systems.

The 973-SF₆ uses chilled mirror condensation technology for high accuracy and repeatable results. Its integrated gas recovery system captures and pumps sampled gas back into the system after testing, helping minimize SF₆ emissions.

Known in the industry as "The Argument Settler," the 973-SF₆ has earned a reputation for reliable and consistent measurement performance.

ProgUSA supports RH Systems products with demonstrations, application guidance, and U.S.-based calibration coordination.

Substation battery banks are the last line of defense for protection and control systems. Knowing their true capacity is not optional.

DV Power's BLU-C Series is a portable battery capacity tester for lead-acid, Li-Ion, Ni-Cd, and other battery types with voltages up to 800 V DC.

The BLU-C delivers discharge currents up to 300 A with 0.1 A resolution and monitors voltage, current, capacity, and elapsed time in real time on a 7-inch touchscreen. Cell-level monitoring through the BVS scanner provides a complete stand-alone discharge test solution.

Testing meets IEEE 450, IEEE 1188, IEEE 1106, and IEC 60896 standards.

ProgUSA represents the full DV Power battery test line with U.S.-based training, demonstrations, and calibration support.

Meet Our Partner: UViRCO

UViRCO Technologies manufactures the CoroCAM family of solar-blind UV corona detection cameras for inspecting high voltage infrastructure at 3.3 kV and above.

Corona discharge on energized equipment often goes undetected during visual inspections before insulation failure occurs. UViRCO's CoroCAM systems make these discharges visible, helping utilities identify problems on insulators, bushings, and connections before they escalate.

The CoroCAM range includes handheld units combining UV, thermal IR, and HD visible imaging, as well as UAV-mounted systems for hard-to-reach overhead inspections.

With over 20 years of experience, UViRCO is the first and leading global manufacturer of corona detection cameras.

ProgUSA provides UViRCO demonstrations, training, and U.S.-based support from our Orlando, Florida facility.

Transformer oil degrades over time from moisture, dissolved gases, and particulate contamination. Left untreated, this directly impacts dielectric strength and transformer lifespan.

Enervac's high vacuum oil purification systems dehydrate and degasify electrical insulating liquids, restoring insulating oil to serviceable condition. The process removes free and dissolved water, trapped gases, and particulate matter.

Systems range from large trailer-mounted units with integrated generators for transmission transformers to portable hand-cart degasifiers for medium voltage applications. Utilities use these systems for routine maintenance, emergency treatment, and commissioning support.

On-site purification often delivers better economics than full oil replacement, particularly on large power transformers where oil volume makes replacement costly.

SF₆ gas prices have surged up to 600% in recent years.

With a global warming potential 24,900 times that of CO₂ and an atmospheric lifetime of up to 50,000 years, proper gas handling is both an economic and environmental priority.

Enervac manufactures a complete line of SF₆ gas servicing equipment for high voltage circuit breakers, gas-insulated switchgear, and transmission lines. Their product range covers gas recovery units, transfer units, evacuation and refill systems, servicing carts, storage tanks, and leak detection.

Systems scale from full-sized gas reclaimers for HV and EHV applications to portable servicing carts for medium voltage equipment.

Meet Our Partner: Enervac

Since 1978, Enervac has been engineering liquid and gas processing equipment for the power industry. Their focus: high-efficiency, field-proven solutions for transformer oil purification and SF₆ gas handling.

Enervac's high vacuum oil purification systems remove moisture, dissolved gases, and particulates from transformer insulating oils, restoring dielectric strength. Their SF₆ recovery and purification equipment helps utilities manage this critical insulating gas while reducing emissions and cost, an increasingly important priority given SF₆'s global warming potential.

Systems range from large custom trailer-mounted units to portable hand cart versions for medium voltage applications.

ProgUSA represents Enervac across the United States with equipment demonstrations, technical consultation, and U.S.-based service support.

Circuit breaker condition assessment doesn't always require a full test station.

DV Power's CAT-H is a handheld circuit breaker analyzer built for field use. At 1.6 kg (3.5 lbs), it handles timing measurement, coil current recording, contact synchronization, and DC supply voltage assessment in a single, battery-operated instrument.

The 5.7" color touchscreen displays numerical and graphical results on-site, with the ability to overlay up to 4 test records for direct comparison. Built-in coil control supports open and close coil actuation. Battery life runs up to 8 hours under normal field conditions.

Testing meets IEC 62271-100 and ANSI C37.09 timing measurement requirements.

ProgUSA provides training, application support, and U.S.-based service for DV Power circuit breaker test equipment.
