From coding and robotics to culinary creations and creative design, our students aren’t just learning, they’re building, exploring, and bringing ideas to life every single day.

No two students learn the same and at Innovus we do not expect them to.

We meet students where they are through small, personalized learning environments built for real growth, not one-size-fits-all pacing. Whether a student needs support, challenge, or a different way of understanding the material, instruction is adapted to the student rather than forcing the student to adapt to the system.

In our small class settings, educators are able to:

✨ Provide direct, consistent feedback and support
✨ Adjust instruction in real time based on student needs
✨ Build confidence through steady, measurable progress

This approach helps students stop slipping through the cracks and start moving forward with clarity and purpose.

Our Culinary Camp is back this summer, and it is built for students who love to get hands-on, try new things, and create something they’re proud of.

Every day, students are in the kitchen learning the basics, working together, and bringing their ideas to life through food. It is structured, creative, and a whole lot of fun.

Here’s the key: each week only runs if we have at least 8 students.

Today marked the first day of the third annual AdventHealth University–Innovus Innovation Center Healthcare Careers and Research Experience. This unique program serves as a powerful example of the Adventist K–20+ STEM+C Pipeline, connecting students with authentic learning experiences alongside university faculty, healthcare professionals, and researchers.

By providing early exposure to healthcare careers and biomedical research, the program enables students to explore potential career pathways while developing the knowledge, skills, and professional networks needed to thrive in STEM+C fields. Through experiences like this, students gain a deeper understanding of how science, technology, and innovation are being used to improve lives and address real-world healthcare challenges.

Throughout the day, students were introduced to a variety of healthcare professions and had the opportunity to engage with university faculty, healthcare professionals, and researchers who are making a difference in the lives of patients every day. They also gained valuable insight into the educational pathways and skills needed to pursue careers in healthcare and biomedical research.

Experiences like this are an important part of our AE4™ (Adventist Education in the Fourth Industrial Revolution) Framework, which seeks to connect students with authentic learning experiences that help them discover their passions, explore future career opportunities, and develop the competencies needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

The Innovus Innovation Center is a program of the Florida Conference Institute for Leadership and Innovation (FCILI), the research and development arm of the Florida Conference Office of Education. Innovus provides homeschool enrichment programs, educational field trips, after-school programs, and summer camps for K–12 students. Cultivating Innovators!
