This coffee table photobook depicts oystermen harvesting oysters in adverse, cold conditions in the Chesapeake Bay tributary, Patuxent River, offshore from Solomons Island, Maryland. The book includes historical descriptions of the area, information about the biological lineage of the local oyster, and 10 historical recipes from the oystermen's families.

Did not like the original finish, Did a complete resand and used a different paint. For those that missed the last post about this sculpture, It is a copy class project from 44 years ago when I was in art school. It is my version of a piece of work which was produced by Constantine Brancusi, the Cry.

Finally completed! Started this project back in art school. The assignment was to make my version of a piece of sculpture That was a interest to me. I chose Constantine brancousi, Romanian artist, The New Born V1, 1920. This turned out to be a 44 year project. Another one from the vault. This is when you better know what you're doing. 4x5 view camera, 210mm Ilex 4.8. Lens, 4x5 E6 film, serious HMI lights, enough gels to wall paper the studio. PS: baker had to bake 20 loaves of bread each style with various times to get the brown color correct. This was a five day production before it was AD approved to go to separator then the printer. Last Saturday's mold making disaster. It sprung a leak that is almost impossible to stop until it hardens. We'll know the results next Saturday if the mold is good. #
