We can't do the important work of getting fire survivors home without our volunteers. One the the most rewarding aspects of that work is making personal connections to the homeowner and letting them know they are not alone. Many of our volunteers maintain contact with homeowners they've helped get home. Recovery isn't just about a home. It's about the emotional and spiritual recovery, too.
Huge thank you to our friends from Missio Community Church for their work last week to get this homeowner over the finish line for repairing her fire damaged home.
Walls are going up for a home rebuild in Altadena. Every step along the way in a build, our team ensures that the home is square and plumb.

HCRN is cleaning and repairing homes damaged by the Eaton and Palisades Fires of 2025. We provide these services free of cost to uninsured and under-insured homeowners who are struggling to return home. How do we do that? With the help of our fantastic volunteers!

Our friends at All Hand and Hearts have been working with us on our smoke remediation program in Altadana, California! They've accomplished so much on this project and we're so grateful for all of their volunteers working so hard to get a family back home!
