Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act Screws Seniors with the Biggest Medicare Premium Increase Ever 09/23/2024

Medicare Alert: There are changes coming in 2025 and, as this article discusses, it appears to be relief at first, but such relief comes at a cost. Who is bearing the cost...taxpayers, the carriers who must increase premiums/copay/offer less benefits, etc.?

Confirm what you are being told by candidates and today's mainstream media outlets. Think it through and see if what you were told in the past has come to be true today, because what's being said today is unlikely to be our reality in the future.

Most of the changes are to those with stand-alone Part D prescription drug plans. Members of Medicare Advantage plans will see less of negative changes because the carrier can blend in the cost across the entire health plan. Several Part D carriers have announced they are leaving the stand-alone Part D market in 2025.

Next month, when all the 2025 Medicare plan info is released to the public, we'll have a clearer picture of how these decisions in the past are affecting our future. We'll also know what the Part B premium will be in 2025 later in October/early November.

Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act Screws Seniors with the Biggest Medicare Premium Increase Ever Joe Biden's disastrous Inflation Reduction Act hasn’t just sabotaged Americans’ wallets, it’s sabotaged their health as well.
