U.S. Army veteran Kirsten Yuhl-Torres will be the keynote speaker at the Alpine Veterans Wall of Honor ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 7.

Kirsten’s only child, Joe, was killed while serving in Iraq in 2006. His legacy lives on through a nonprofit created in his name — work that was recognized by President George W. Bush in a 2007 holiday address.

Join us as we honor Joe, Kirsten, and all those who have served and sacrificed for our country. 🇺🇸

There was no place like home than at the Alpine Club's Wizard of Oz-themed bingo night. More than 100 people followed the yellow brick road to join us in the Emerald City. It was also great to have Pat celebrate her 85th birthday along with 22 of her closest friends!

A nice San Diego baseball connection at Petco Park! ⚾️

New San Diego Padres owners Jose E. Feliciano and Kwanza Jones are joined by Alpine Club Treasurer Steve Dolan.

Steve spent seven years as the statistician for Don Orsillo and fellow Alpine resident Mark Grant during San Diego Padres telecasts. Today, he continues working with visiting teams in San Diego, including the New York Yankees and YES Network during Labor Day weekend.

It’s always fun to see Alpine connections at the heart of San Diego baseball!

Today, we celebrate the dedication, hard work, and contributions of American workers who help keep our communities and country moving forward.

Labor Day, observed on the first Monday of September, has its roots in the labor movement of the late 19th century and remains a meaningful tribute to the achievements of workers everywhere.

Enjoy this well-deserved day off, spend time with family and friends, and soak up the unofficial final days of summer! ☀️❤️

Thanks so much to the 50 amazing fans who joined us for our first-ever San Diego Padres watch party! The event definitely hit a home run, and the Padres made it even better by shutting out the Pittsburgh Pirates 3-0!

Come cheer on the San Diego Padres as they take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, with Alpine resident Mark Grant on the televised commentary!

The Alpine Club will be streaming the game, and admission is FREE. We’ll have hot dogs, chips and lemonade to give you that ballpark experience. 🌭⚾️🍋
