Creating a bird-friendly world can start in your own backyard with some simple steps:
🌱Plant native plants
💡Turn off outdoor lighting at night
☠️ Do NOT use pesticides or rodenticides
🐦 Put bird friendly reflectors on large windows to prevent collisions
💦 Offer clean, fresh water sources for all wildlife

Baby Lu has finally gotten her hard-penned feathers. They have fully grown in and the blood supply to the feather shaft has receded, resulting in a hardened quill base. Such a big girl now with just a bit of baby down left! 🥹
