We cannot believe Peanut hasn’t been scooped up to her furever home yet!

Peanut is a 10-month-old mixed-breed sweetheart who truly lives up to the word special 🐶

Peanut is playful, curious, and full of life. She’s the kind of pup who finds joy in everything—whether it’s a game of fetch 🎾, a walk where she can explore every smell, or curling up close for snuggles once the day is done.

Her journey hasn’t been easy. Peanut came from a home with too many dogs and not enough resources. While just trying to survive and find food, she suffered a heartbreaking injury to her paw 💔—resulting in multiple fractures that required care, patience, and time to heal.

But Peanut never stopped being Peanut 💙

She’s been strong, brave, and full of love through it all. She is now nearly finished with treatment and is expected to make a full recovery—soon she’ll be running, playing, and stepping into the bright future she’s always deserved.

Meet Thelma & Louise — bonded, gentle souls searching for another forever together. 💙

More than seven years ago, Thelma & Louise left our rescue side by side and entered a home where they were deeply loved. They weren’t just pets — they were family. They spent years surrounded by comfort, stability, and devotion.

Then heartbreak changed everything.

Through no fault of their own, these girls suddenly found themselves back in rescue after losing the people they loved most. Now just over seven years old, they are understandably confused and grieving the only life they knew.

But through it all, they’ve never left each other’s side.

Thelma & Louise are the definition of easy companions:
🐾 Fully house trained
🐾 Calm, quiet, and beautifully well-mannered
🐾 No barking, even in our busiest rescue environment
🐾 No chewing, destruction, or chaos
🐾 Completely non-reactive around other dogs
🐾 Sweet, affectionate, and incredibly gentle

These girls are not demanding. They don’t need excitement or constant activity. They simply need a peaceful home, soft places to rest, patience while their hearts heal, and someone willing to love them together.

Because after losing everything familiar, they still have each other — and we refuse to take that away.

Thelma & Louise have already known what it feels like to be loved completely. We know there is someone out there willing to give them that gift again.
