Based in Greer, South Carolina, Chris has been a member of our team since 2016. He worked for several years in manufacturing and banking before having the opportunity to do something he always wanted – to become a professional truck driver. Since earning his CDL 13 years ago, Chris has remained crash and injury-free, and he keeps safety a top priority while delivering a high level of service to our partner’s customers. Chris is usually accompanied on the road by his dog, Nala. He and Nala were also featured in The Trucker Magazine in 2021.

In the latest ATRI Top Industry Issues Report for 2023, Commercial Drivers report their top concern is Compensation. Top concerns for Motor Carriers include driver shortage ( #2) and Driver Retention ( #4).
All of these concerns are related – when you have a strategy for retention including a strong company culture, competitive compensation and benefits, and open communication with drivers, your retention improves and a shortage is not a concern.
