Might as well spend some time creating. Roasted butternut squash purée with a muni orange olive oil, red lentils with fresh parsley. sautéd shrooms and shallots, seared scallops and bacon. Lots of layers. Lacking a little heat, suggestions for next time?

First attempt at corn bread; bacon grease in the heated cast iron pan, buttermilk corn bread. (As a side note, I don’t actually like corn bread but my family does) 😂
