These shot are "Nuke and the Nightshift" from Oscoda Mi. There were taken at Lakeside Palooza. It was a fun set and a blast to shoot.

Last weekend I had the privilege of shooting Lakeside Palooza. I would like to thank "Katharsys Theory" for the opportunity.

I had a great time, and have some great pics to show for it.

Over the last few days I have been working on making some changes to my workflow. Today I am going through some images to see how it turns out in practice. This image is from last spring, shot handheld @ 600mm

Here is a pretty big photo dump from the Dash for Cash Tuesday night in Oscoda.

This was a warm up for me to shoot the down river half of the AuSable River Canoe Marathon Sunday. Its been a couple years and I have to admit I was a little rusty.

If I missed anyone and you want to see some let me know. This is about 10% of what I shot. Not all of them are good, but i do have sots of every canoe at least once.

One of the best things of living here in North East Michigan is the wildlife and the sunrises. It is even better when you can enjoy both.

There are times that life gets in the way of what you want to do. As with many people, this has been the case with me. I have had the camera out and have done some shooting for myself but professionally I didn't do much. In the last short while I have shot some astrophotography, this is something that I have not done since film, and it is a little different in the digital world. The results were not perfect, but I was happy nonetheless.

I also fell back to shooting some waterfalls, this was a quick evening trip to do some long exposures, and I was pretty happy with the results as I covered around 200 miles, shot 2 falls, and Miners castle in 5 hours..

The last shoot was my grandchildren's portraits. They all took really good shots and I am looking forward to the next shoot. This gave me the boost to get back at it.

The new website is in work, and the new homepage is actually live, although there is no content included in any of the links yet. I am looking forward to a new updated look, and to get out there and get shooting again.
