Good morning, (natural deodorant recipe included) I answered a question on another site about deodorant and thought you all may learn from my answer also.

The store deodorants with aluminum clogs pores to stop stink, but is a catch 22 because the stink causing bacteria breed in the clogged pores. When switching to a natural deodorant it will take maybe 2 weeks to clear the pores and bacteria. You will still sweat but it shouldn't stink. I make our deodorant with a quart of rum, whiskey or alcohol (the alcohol smell dissipates when dry)with a tablespoon of arrowroot powder and any Essential oil scent you like, mix in a spray bottle and shake before each use. While your body is adjusting, just wash pits and respray as needed.

Day 3 with no grid power. Saving generator power for the most important stuff like COFFEE! ☕️☕️.

Warming shelters list. Check on your friends and neighbors if you are able. Still most of the area is without power and it's brutally cold and windy out there.

Ice storm 2026. More snow tonight and winds will mean more power lines down. We have tree damage and no grid power or cable internet. We're ready for a multi day outage though. Thanks to wood heat and the wind solar and gas generators. And we have lots of our food put away. The ice is beautiful but this weather is brutal. Stay safe and hang in there.

Thawing more of our apple cider to start another batch of Applejack. Also Utilizing the wood stove heat. Just bottled Mead and Applejack batches yesterday after a months long fermenting with champagne yeast. Self sufficiency at its finest isn't just food storage.😉 . Sorry not for sale🤗
