Working for a repeat client this week and almost a year later and I am still loving how these steps turned out. Just slightly deeper than normal makes for easy navigation and that white riser pops! Love it!

The upstairs apartment on Chisholm street is also complete. This apartment had its own challenges as this was only bedrooms and very tiny bathroom prior. I added a 5x5 expansion to the bathroom to make room for a proper shower, added a knee wall to put in the kitchen. I rebuilt the front porch, put in a new attic access, lots of trim and quarter round, installed the bathroom floor tile, installed the cabinets and vanity. I wasn’t the only one working to make the magic happen. Henry Heating rocked the plumbing and HVAC, Thunderbay Electric re-wired the whole house, Stanson’s installed the floor, Clark Lewis did the countertop, and Paint the Town did all the painting. It was a great team effort. It feels great to put a bow on this one.

After many months of hard work by many, the second apartment project on Chisholm is complete. Just needs a final clean and it’s ready to go! From the challenges of an old house to the making of something new, this was quite a transformation. I built two new closets, leveled some floors, completely redid the bathroom, ceramic tile, a whole new kitchen, lots of trim and quarter round and May finishing touches. I would say it turned out great. See you on the next one! 😉
