Ran into some dudes camping and fishing along the river. Stopped and lent them a net to land this beautiful brown with a clean release. We are all out there to fish and enjoy the great outdoors. Take the time to be kind ✌️

Number 1 rule of fishing…don’t pass out on the boat. #😂😂😂

Day 1 in the books on the Clark Fork. Had some rain…had some sun…caught a lot of fish on dropper rigs and dries. This river offered up some great fish and some amazing views.

Tactics are key. Streamers, dry flies, nymphs…they all work but some work better than others.

Can’t have to many rods and reels

Not gonna let you eat um…who loves fishing in the dark? Love fishing in the day but something about fishing in the dark just amplifies everything.

Not really…but a high degree of patience is required in some situations

May need to do this again. Throw back to last December when 2 degrees F doesn’t make for the best fly fishing conditions…but when the river calls you must go. Be impossible to launch now that the river is total frozen over in most places.

Could really use some of that summer weather and some smallies right about now.
