πŸŒ• Exfoliation is important but don't over exfoliate. Best to exfoliate once to twice a week. Be careful to avoid using harsh products or scrubs. Always check ingredients - products using nuts can be jagged causing micro tears to the epidermis and with sustained use can cause scarring. Remember be gentle 😊

🚿 Cleansing your face once to twice a day. When cleansing use warm (not hot) water to prevent dryness or irritating your facial tissue. Every cleanser is different, always choose what is best for your skin type. Whether dry, oily, acneic or mature. Some clients use a hydrating cleanser in the morning and a exfoliating cleanser at night. I prefer sulfate free cleansers.

I have received a lot of questions recently regarding the best skin care regimen. I have tested out lots of products and ingredients. I have so many favorites and ones I absolutely hate.

Best routine is making sure to follow a few steps:
🚿 Cleanse - once to twice a day. Every cleanser is different, always choose what is best for your skin type. Whether dry, oily, acneic or mature. Some clients use a hydrating cleanser in the morning and a exfoliating cleanser at night. So play with what works best for you and most important be safe and have fun!

β˜‚οΈπŸŒž Protect - very important to wear sunscreen daily. Everyone has different preferences on ingredients and brands. Most important is 30 spf please avoid using sunscreen with spf lower than 30. Spf 15 won't give you lasting coverage. In the same regard choosing a spf higher than spf 30 although meaning well does not always mean your protection has increased by much. (😎Always make sure to wear your sunglasses and protect those pretty eyes too! 🀩)

πŸ› οΈ Repair - finding the right enhancing cream can be a chore. Depending on your skin type, age and what you would like to focus on whether it be eyes, laugh lines or full face. You will want to focus on understanding what the ingredients target and best for which areas. There are so many product lines out there so have fun with it!
