“To know God سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ, one has to open the heart to knowledge that seems beyond our understanding.” — Imam Al-Ghazali
The next book in the Imam Al-Ghazali series for children beautifully uses stories and metaphors to explain profound and often difficult concepts—questions that have sparked endless philosophical debates, such as: Who is God? What is God? And where is Godسُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ?
One particularly touching passage is how the children interpret Imam Al-Ghazali’s trial as profound wisdom from God:
“Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ kindly took away your voice so you could no longer teach, and He made you become a humble cleaner and janitor in the Damascus mosque. Once you became truly empty of all those proud and stuck-up ideas, you became pure and full of light. Then you were finally able to understand the deep and important meanings hidden within every detail of our religion.”
Through this, one learns that only by removing the dust of the ego from the mirror of the spiritual heart can we comprehend true knowledge. Likewise, we must nurture the golden seeds planted within our hearts by watering them daily through the remembrance of God, and by practising what we read and hear from our teachers, so that the roots of the tree of true knowledge within us grow deep and strong, bearing healthy fruits from which we benefit in both this world and the next.

At the centre of our being lies an inner compass [the Heart]; when it is sound, everything around it begins to find its proper place, and when it is ignored, disorder quietly spreads.
“It is necessary for children, women, and men to become accustomed to saying what is good and speaking only with goodness, as Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ command us in the Quran. As people who believe in Allah, the meeting with Him, and the Reckoning, we must ensure that good words inform our thoughts and objectives.”
This extraordinary work invites the reader into everyday moments that are often overlooked—the care with which we speak, kindness towards all living things, the hidden depth in the simplest interactions, keeping our mortality in view, and learning that even the most mundane tasks can carry eternal significance when done with the right purpose.
“Men and Women who remember Allah often — for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great reward.” [Quran 33:35]
Elegantly bound and deeply reflective, it is the kind of book that asks to be read slowly, revisited often, and marked with notes in the margins because so much of it lingers long after the page is turned. 🌿📚

Jummah Mubarak || Musa's Tears of Yearning & Admiration 🌹
On the night of the Flight to Jerusalem (layla al-risa), after learning of the status of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the immensity of his reward brought about by way of the blessed nation, Musa (May Allah bless him, and may He grant him peace) cried tears of envy and admiration. He understood that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would outstrip him in the number of souls to be directed to Paradise. Needless to say, Musa's tears were borne of fondness and recognition and not of jealousy — as some ignorant and unfortunate souls have been deluded to believe. Musa shed tears as he came to fully realize the magnificent and immense station of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him.

Prophetic biography is one of the most important of our religion’s sciences, and this new addition to the increasingly rich and varied literature now available in the English language is both useful and accurate in its presentation and content. Drawing from several existing works of Sirah, this novel textbook format with copious images, maps, and diagrams will help visually-oriented readers to better grasp certain aspects of the Sirah. Prophetic biographies are especially valuable when taught to Muslims at an early age so they know better the mercy, wisdom, struggle and beauty of our Prophet, peace be upon him. This book should help to that end.

Book: Man & The Universe | An Islamic Perspective
The West is breathlessly attempting to control everything in sight, an impossible task as the variables are innumerable. It is like a train going downhill at full speed. Within each carriage, the passengers feel smugly secure and are intently engaged in making the inside of the carriage ever more comfortable and pleasurable. The driver feels in control and sends reassuring messages to the passengers, despite the fact that whenever he tries to reduce speed the brakes do not respond. It never occurs to him to try to halt the train, for he still does not suspect that he has lost his brakes and all control over the locomotive. The crash is inevitable, but very few are those whose vision is clear enough to see it coming. They attempt to divert the others’ attention from their immediate pleasures and warn them of what is coming but their words remain unheard till
“…when the earth has taken on its glitter and has decked itself fair and its inhabitants think they have power over it, Our command comes upon it by night or day and We make it stubble, as though it had never flourished the day before.”
(Qur’an 10:24)
Dr Mustafa Al-Badawi’s masterpiece is a must-read for 2026. Available on our Website.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
“The prayer is submissiveness, humility, urgent need, distress, and remorse; it is to raise your hands and say, ‘O God! O God!’ Otherwise, it is incomplete.”
Abu Hamid al-Ghazali’s Ihya’ Ulum al-Din is perhaps one of the most important works for understanding both the inward and outward dimensions of the religious sciences. This volume is one of five books devoted to the inner realities of Islamic worship; Books 3, 5, 6, and 7 explore purification, zakāt, fasting, and pilgrimage respectively.

The House of the Prophet: Devotion to Muhammad in Islamic Mysticism is a historical survey of the centuries of theological arguments centered around the metaphysical terms, “Reality of Muhammad” and the “Family of Muhammad.” Those influential interpretations served to defend a vast range of personal and public devotional practices (such as intercessory prayers, the birthday and Mi’raj of the Prophet, or Sunni understandings of the “people”/Family of Muhammad). Eventually they also helped to explain the widespread devotional practices surrounding the “Friends of God” (awliya’), such as the visitation of tomb-shrines, related annual festivals, and serving as intermediaries in our personal interactions with the spiritual world.
This magisterial study of the centuries-long, slowly unfolding intellectual backdrop to those omnipresent spiritual practices and beliefs offers a progressive historical “mirror” reflecting the creative spread of all these popular practices and institutions.
