This week I have been working with one of my Investors who is looking for a home to remodel and sell to make a profit. We have driven from Allen to Arlington, Mesquite to Anna. Asking prices were from $124,900 to $210,000. The lowest priced home has multiple bids and they are asking for the highest and best offer. Most of the homes require approximately $30,000 in upgrades. If you are handy and can paint you could do the upgrades for much less. There are also loans that will let you borrow money to have contractors do the work. My Company can also sell HUD Foreclosures, which when they first come on the market are restricted to owner occupants, then after a few weeks, open to investors.
This is another Option to end renting.
