🌧️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Rain? What rain? The runners at yesterday's DRC Bloomin' 4-Miler weren't about to let a little water from the sky get in the way of a great race!

As the Dallas Running Club likes to say, "We are the DRC, and today we run!" 💪

The rain came, the runners came, and the fun kept right on going. There were plenty of smiles, soaked shoes, and great running friends making memories together. That's what the running community is all about!

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms—something we can never fully repay, but should never forget.
Life has been crazy busy the past month, so I never got around to sharing some of the photos I captured during my time in Washington, D.C. back in April. Today felt like the perfect day to share a few moments from our Nation’s Capital as we reflect, remember, and give thanks.

Expectation vs. Reality: The Shot and The Shutterbug. 😅 On the left is a beautiful, shot of Stacey Rotunno just beaming near the start line. On the right, you see a behind-the-scenes glimpse of this old photog completely locked in and doing whatever it takes to get the angle. Photo 1 definitely proves that Rico Photo can still work his magic behind the lens, even if Photo 2 shows I'm not exactly runway-ready while doing it. At the end of the day, as long as the subject looks amazing, this old pro has done his job! 📸💥
