Welcome to my new followers 🥰
My name is Rebecca and sewing is my passion!!
I started sewing around 9 years ago, after the birth of my son! I was a busy mom, working as a nurse during the day and teaching myself how to sew off YouTube videos. I made my own clothes, things for my children, scrub caps for working in the operating room, and would even make them for all my coworkers! It was not uncommon for me to bring my sewing machine to the clinic to work on my projects once we were done with patients for the day!
I stepped away from nursing in 2021 and toyed with the idea of doing alterations for clients, but tried to follow the corporate world after graduating with my MBA. WELL, I hated it 🤣 and in 2023, RJ Sewing Projects was born. I have been happily helping my clients full-time for almost 3 years now 🥰
Sewing has opened so many doors for me, getting to help in countless weddings, special events, and has even taken me on international trips with a wildly successful Taylor Swift cover band! It is all thanks to my amazing clients 🥰 Thank you for making my dream come true!!!

First project of 2026: I thrifted a little toddler vest because the fabric was just too beautiful not to have. I got the inspiration to make a tiny tote bag and here she is! Enjoy 🥰
I cannot wait to turn this mother's STUNNING gown into pieces for her daughters' upcoming weddings!!

I have been working on custom projects lately and one was a look for my daughter and I at the 2nd Annual Lover Awards 💗
I made both dresses from recycling a robe I thrifted! I fell in love with the vintage silk fabric and had to do something special with it!

If you've been to my sewing suite, you probably have seen Vinnie either napping in his crate or maybe he was out to get some butt scratchies and pat pats ❤️
Unfortunately, Vinnie went over the rainbow bridge today. He was very very sick but now he is at peace. We are absolutely heartbroken. Thank you to all my customers who have shown him love ❤️ we love you so much Vinnie boy ❤️
