🌽Our 5th grade Dual Language students just wrapped up their very first unit of study, Cultivating Resources! A major focus of the unit was corn, exploring its history, cultural significance, and role as a vital resource.

To bring learning to life and in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, students enjoyed a special culminating experience: tasting elote together! 🎉🌽❤️

What a meaningful way to connect classroom learning with culture, community, and celebration!

This year, 13% of our multilingual students in Huntley 158 exited services which is more than double the state average of 6%! 🌟

📸 Here are some snapshots from this special celebration. We are so proud of our students and staff for their hard work and dedication! 💪✨
