Library and environmental enthusiasts enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Raue Center for our Aldo Leopold event. The venue was filled with attendees, and thanks to the participation of numerous libraries, nature organizations, and environmental agencies, there was no shortage of information and resources to explore. Presenter Jennifer Sterling shared insightful and engaging information that helped carry forward Aldo Leopold's enduring message of environmental stewardship.

Thanks to McHenry County Libraries United, the audience, and Abalabix Books for making it a great night!

Friday FAQ - Q: We loved the Buzz, Wiggle, and Wander Outdoor Scavenger Hunt. How long is it there?
A: Thanks for the compliment! Our team worked really hard on it. You can visit the scavenger hunt located along the path at Ted Spella Park from now through the library's closing on July 19th. Come to the Harnish location to collect a map, then take your map to the trail directly next to the library and see what you can find. When you finish, bring it back for a prize! This trail does not go “off-road” and is accessible to all.
