If you’ve ever wondered whether fostering might be right for your family, we invite you to join us for a Foster Parent Orientation. This is a chance to learn more about the process, ask questions, and hear about the support available every step of the way.

Summer fun has officially started at Fostering Community! ☀️

These monthly gatherings are a place for youth to build relationships, try new things, and simply enjoy being together in a welcoming and supportive space.

Youth Community Nights happen every month, and we would love to connect with you! If you have a teen in your home who would like to participate, or if you would like to help support or contribute to a future event, reach out to us!

Today wrapped up Foster Parent Appreciation Lunches as we spent time connecting with caregivers in Leesville. 💙

Over the past few days, we’ve had the opportunity to visit with caregivers across our region, share meals together, build connections, and simply say thank you to the people opening their hearts and homes to children each and every day.

A special thank you to Fox’s Pizza Den in Leesville for hosting us today and helping make this event possible!

To every caregiver across our region, whether you were able to attend one of the lunches this week or not, thank you. Thank you for the love, patience, stability, and support you provide to children and teens every single day. We appreciate all that you do for children and families throughout our community.

Day 2 of celebrating Foster Caregivers across the Alexandria Region took us to Jonesville, and we had a great time celebrating these families!💙

One of the best parts of today was seeing caregivers connect with others who live nearby and understand the journey of foster care. Building relationships and community among foster families is so important, and we are grateful for the opportunity to bring people together.

Thank you to every caregiver who joined us today. We are so thankful for the way you continue to open your hearts and homes to children across our region.
