Reunited. 💗
13 years ago, we came together with a simple idea: that we could use music in a bigger way and help young people to discover their voices and tell their own stories.
Today, Sound Impact co-founders Rebecca, Tiffany, and Danielle are reunited to launch a new pilot program at the San Mateo Juvenile Detention Center in partnership with Music at Kohl Mansion.
We’re excited to see what these young people imagine with us as we explore music, creativity, and the power of storytelling together.

We recently wrapped up our Voices of Prince George’s County season with a residency at Cheltenham Youth Detention Center.
Together with our partners at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center and returning collaborator Wordsmith, we used music, storytelling, and creative expression to help young people share their voices.
We are grateful for the opportunity to build community through the arts and to work alongside incredible partners who believe in the power of every young person’s story.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this season of Voices of Prince George’s County possible!
