On Friday, June 19, all ALIVE! locations and services will be closed in observance of Juneteenth.

Food brings families through our doors. Community keeps them coming back.

1 in 10 Alexandrians facing food and housing insecurity turn to ALIVE! for help. When families face crisis, ALIVE! provides food, financial assistance, housing, and other essential support them. We help more than 20,000 neighbors each month meet their basic needs and move towards stability.

Food is not a privilege. It’s a right.
In a world full of plenty, no one should go hungry. Let’s come together to make access to nutritious food a reality for all. 🌍

A heartfelt thank you to Alfred Street Baptist Church, Christ Church, Fairlington United Methodist Church, and Washington Street Methodist Church (ALL ALIVE! Member Congregations), along with King’s Church DC and the Andrew Jackson Lodge of the Free Masons, for coming together to complete 16 furniture deliveries this month for our neighbors in need.

On Monday, May 25th, ALIVE!'s Office will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.

Thank you to the Old Town Festival of Speed and Style team for having us at the festival and High Octane Ball this past weekend! We’re so grateful for your continued partnership and generous support of ALIVE! over the years. As the festival’s anchor charity since the very beginning, it means so much to be part of this incredible community event. 💚
