NC DOT hears from public on I-95 expansion, tolls North Carolina's Department of Transportation is looking to collect more ideas on ways to pay to upgrade Interstate 95, including hearing about the possible cost to businesses of charging tolls.
The NC House Transportation Committee unanimously voted to send House Bill 267 on to Appropriations. HB 267 would keep the existing lanes of I-95 from being tolled. We applaud this bipartisan effort on behalf of the citizens and businesses of The I-95 corridor.
