Did you know that volunteers dedicated over 1,500 hours to Spitfire’s mission last year?

As a team of two, we can say with confidence that **our work would not be possible** without this amazing team of volunteers alongside us!

We had so much fun last night at ALX Community celebrating a fantastic year of programming with the amazing volunteers who make it happen. A huge thank you to our mentors, to our camp and event volunteers, to our office and administrative volunteers, and to our leaders for your time, your brilliance, and your dedication to our girls!

As we coast into the home stretch of the school year, now is a great time to start thinking about how to make reading a fun, accessible activity this summer!

💡One idea: let your kiddo designate a special reading space at home. They can even make a “do not disturb” sign to protect the peace 😆

We are so excited that we set two new personal S2A records tonight: the most money we’ve ever raised and the most donors we’ve ever engaged!

This was tremendous team effort. A huge thank you to our eight fundraiser hosts, and to our matching gift hosts, for being champions for our girls! We couldn’t have done this without you!!!

Two of these events under our belt and we’re struggling with the silent reading part… 🤭 but we do continue to excel at fantastic conversations and enjoying delicious food and beverages!
