Bonjour from Gloria! 🎓🌟🥐

From joining LSUA SPERO in 2022 to walking across the graduation stage last week, and now standing in France living out a dream.

Gloria’s journey began with caring international student mentors who opened her eyes to French culture. That spark led her to enroll in LSUA’s French language class, and she soon told her parents, “I want to visit France.” Her mom and dad made it a graduation gift, and Gloria is there — confidently ordering at a Paris bakery… in French!

This is what hope looks like. This is what happens when a student is surrounded by encouragement, quality education, and a community that believes in her.

Congratulations, Gloria! You’ve shown us all what’s possible when we choose hope. 💛💜

What an unforgettable night! ✨💜
Our Spero Graduation Reception on Friday was nothing short of magical. The room was filled with students, proud parents, families, faculty, and staff, all celebrating the incredible journey of our seniors and the entire Spero family. There were hugs, laughter, beautiful speeches, and plenty of happy tears (the moms already requested Kleenex on every table next year!!).

Our mentors were deeply touched by the recognition, and watching our First Four, Katelyn, Gloria, Tyler, and Morgan, along with the rest of the class celebrate this milestone was truly heartwarming.

Thank you to every single person who poured love into this night and into our students all year long.
Spero isn’t just a program, it’s a family. And nights like this remind us how blessed we are.

Students in the Spero Program are capable, eager to learn, and ready to engage with the world around them. Tyler’s initiative reminds us all that the desire for knowledge has no limits!

She’s one of those rare students who seems to know everyone on campus! Always flashing that friendly smile, chatting with friends, staff, and faculty alike. Gabrielle has a gift for making people feel welcome and bringing light wherever she goes. So grateful to have her as part of the Spero family! 💜
