Stephanie Henderson-Carter brought years of experience as an educator and a strong financial track record to the table. Still, when she approached banks in Monroe for a loan to get The Children's Den off the ground, she faced one rejection after another. That changed when she connected with us at b1FOUNDATION and Will Campbell.
When Renita Thomas of In Loving Arms Healthcare for Kids, LLC adopted a child who needed special care, no facility would take her. So, she envisioned starting a healthcare center that could meet her child’s needs, and the needs of others like her. But even 15 years of healthcare experience and a near-perfect credit score weren’t enough for a bank to say “yes” to funding Renita’s dream. That is, until she met Will Campbell.
