Get to Know a CCST Cybersecurity Graduate, Sheena Driver
At NSITE, professional development is about more than preparing future talent — it’s also about investing in upward career mobility.
Sheena, a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Industries for Blind and Visually Impaired, shared how the program strengthened both technical skills and confidence while supporting their organization’s mission.
“I was inspired to pursue cybersecurity because technology plays such an important role in the organization and people I support every day.”
Through the program, they gained skills in cybersecurity threats, access control, security best practices, and critical thinking.
Balancing work and training was a key achievement:
“Finishing the program was an important personal and professional achievement for me.”
They now plan to pursue additional certifications and take on expanded security responsibilities.
Their advice: “Stay curious and don’t be afraid to keep learning. Cybersecurity is about helping and protecting people, not just working with technology.”
Congratulations to our CCST graduates as they continue building skills that strengthen organizations and the workforce.

Congratulations to Chris Edmerson on graduating from the CCST Cybersecurity program!
Chris exemplifies continuous growth and dedication to learning. Prior to CCST, he also completed NSITE’s Cybersecurity Foundations course, continuing to build his skills and career pathway in technology and cybersecurity.
As he prepares for his CCST certification exam in the months ahead, we celebrate both this milestone and the commitment it took to reach it.
“I came in with ten years of compliance and QA experience and left with the cybersecurity vocabulary to match it. This cohort did not just teach me new skills. It showed me how much I already had.”
