Following last month’s legislative visit, REACT DC hosted a Qurbani meat distribution for newcomer families. We were joined by representatives from House Majority Leader Charniele Herring and Senator Jennifer B. Boysko, as well as Delegate Karen Keys-Gamarra and Delegate Garrett McGuire. Thanks to generous community donors and Halalway International Supermarket for helping provide culturally responsive support to families in need.
