Stop by the the LSUA Library to view Dr. Coreil's retirement exhibit! His fierce leadership over the past 7 years as LSUA Chancellor is truly inspiring. We've captured the highlights and the memorable moments.

You can view the exhibit on the first floor of Bolton Library on weekdays from 8 AM - 4PM through the month of June.

A fan of Louisiana Public Broadcasting and Louisiana history, LSUA SPERO Program student Tyler watched LPB's recent episode of LA64 featuring cultural and historic sites in Rapides Parish.

While watching, Tyler spotted LSUA Archivist Megan Lord discussing the Epps House and the next day, asked her for a tour. We were happy to make that tour happen for Tyler this morning! He asked great questions and enjoyed visiting the site.

Congratulations, Dr. Beard!

LSU System President Wade Rousse has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Beard, Ph.D., as the next Chancellor of Louisiana State University of Alexandria, following a national search to identify the university’s new leader.

Beard currently serves as Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at LSUA and brings more than two decades of leadership experience in higher education.

The LSUA community looks forward to her leadership as the university continues its growth and commitment to student success.
