Twenty-seven Ranch
Twenty-seven Ranch is the fulfillment of the retirement dreams of Don and Shirley Bray.
With more yesterdays than tomorrows, seeing the sun rise and set from their own little neck of the woods is what retirement is all about for them.
Would you look at this!

The garden shed’s Hollyhocks were so pretty this morning!

I think I’ll go have another cup of coffee. RG’s putting on some biscuits as we speak. 👍 The day has begun.

Russian Sage isn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever transplanted. It usually looks dead before it decides to live. I am happy to report that the two I transplanted in the new garden area are going to pull through. One is still a little touch and go though. 👩🌾

Looks like it’s breakfast time in the north pasture.

The feeder is working great! Looks weird with those hanger things so I think I’ll cut them off today. Yesterday it was very popular with finches. The Redbirds have found it too along with a lot of riffraff. 😂 The Mourning Doves are the cleanup crew and I’ve warned them about the cats numerous times. 🙄😂

Things are looking good at the garden shed. Plants are filling in. Wasn’t sure about the purple but I love it now! The pink Clematis is still hiding out behind the Mexican Petunia. lol.

There’s just something wrong with my having to use a hoe to do my work and RG enjoying a/c and music while he rides along doing his. 😉😂

I hoped for a bit of rain today as did a little staking up in the cottage garden. It did cloud over but no rain. The ground’s hard as a rock! Tough plants are still blooming though. Not one Gomphrena in the bunch! Why?!? I have no clue.
