Sometimes it's the little things.

This week, it's these new bread bags. They fit my loaves perfectly, and seeing them lined up for pickup this morning made me stop and smile.

The imposter syndrome has been loud today. This bakery has been a dream of mine for most of my adult life, and watching it grow week after week still feels a little unreal.

Every Saturday, as I write your names on bags and set out your orders, I'm reminded that none of this happens without you.

Thank you for trusting me to bake for your families. Thank you for telling your friends. Thank you for supporting small. Thank you for supporting local.

They say everyone starts somewhere.

This is my somewhere.

A folding table on my porch. Fresh bread cooling in the kitchen. Your names written on paper bags. Early mornings, late nights, and a dream that's finally becoming real.

To some, this may just look like bread.

To my family, it's opportunity, hope, and a future we're building one loaf at a time.

This week's menu has two things I'm really excited about. 🥯🍊

Bagels are back! Plain, Everything, and Asiago, mix and match your own 6-pack. They sold out in less than 24 hours last week and I'm honestly still a little shocked by that. If you missed them, this is your week. Grab them early.

And Orange Vanilla Sweet Rolls are back by popular demand. These are one of the most requested things I've ever made, and for good reason. Soft, sweet, a little citrusy, and honestly the kind of thing that's hard to describe until you've had one. They're already moving so don't sit on it!

One more thing I'm really happy to share... I've officially added an Eastside pickup location in Hotplate! Guitar Center on San Pedro + Menaul, Saturday pickup between 4 and 5pm. If you've been ordering from that side of town, I've been thinking about you. 😊 This one's for you.

This week feels a little surreal. ❤️

Not only am I getting ready for my biggest bake day yet with 15 orders headed out this Saturday, but I also had the chance to donate 2 dozen cookies to New Mexico Young Actors for their fundraiser this weekend.

One of the things I've always hoped for with Well, Bread! is that it could be more than just bread and baked goods. I want it to be a way to give back to the community that's been so supportive of me from the very beginning.

As the bakery grows, I hope to keep finding opportunities to support local schools, nonprofits, fundraisers, employee appreciation events, and community organizations whenever I can.

If there's a group in our community doing something meaningful, I'd love to hear about them. Feel free to tag them below or send me a message. I keep a list of organizations and events to consider when donation opportunities come up throughout the year.
