We’re honored to welcome Melissa Guerrero (Huastec/Wastek) as our Fashion Program Associate for the 4th Annual NGT Interactive Experience at Meow Wolf Santa Fe. 🤎

As the co-founder of Indigenous ACE (Arts, Culture, Education), Melissa has dedicated years to uplifting Indigenous cultures through education, teaching youth powwow-style dance, sewing, and creating spaces where our traditions continue to thrive. She also walks alongside Indigenous designers as a model, helping bring their artistry to life on the runway. Melissa has invested in the art of modeling through professional training, continually learning, growing, and showing up for designers with professionalism and care.

What drew us to Melissa is the way she shows up for community with kindness, humility, and a genuine willingness to support others. She understands that the strongest creative spaces are built by lifting one another up, sharing knowledge, and making room for the next generation to shine.
At NGT, that’s what our fashion program is all about.

🎶 Artist Announcement | Felix Gato Peralta 🎶

The NGT Stage at NM Wine Festival, Albuquerque welcomes New Mexico musician, songwriter, and cultural educator Felix Peralta.

A Genízaro descendant, Felix Peralta is known on stage as Gato 🐈‍⬛ dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich traditions of Hispano and Nuevo Mexicano folk music. Through corridos, ballads, and original songs, his music honors the stories of family, land, resilience, and the generations that continue to shape New Mexico.

Drawing from over a decade of personal healing and a passion for cultural preservation, Felix mentors youth, researches historic recordings from the John Donald Robb Musical Trust and Smithsonian Folkways, and is currently creating an album that traces Nuevo Mexicano lineage, migration, land loss, and renewal.

The NGT Stage at NM Wine Festival, Albuquerque welcomes the soulful voice of Dachuneeh Martin.

Hailing from Montezuma Creek, Utah, Dachuneeh Martin is a Navajo and Dakota singer-songwriter whose music blends Traditional Navajo sounds with a contemporary Americana style. After spending time in Nashville, Tennessee, writing and honing her craft, she returned with songs that honor her roots while embracing the timeless tradition of storytelling through music.

Following the release of her debut single, “Grandpa,” Dachuneeh has shared her music with audiences around the world, including a performance at the Hard Rock Cafe in Barcelona, Spain, bringing Native stories and experiences to an international stage.

Hailing from the homelands of Jemez and Santa Ana Pueblo, Burque Sol blends Indigenous reggae, soul, Latin grooves, funk, and hip-hop into a sound that’s unmistakably New Mexico. Their music carries the heartbeat of Pueblo communities, barrio roots, and the city they proudly call home.

Their name says it all 🌶️💛 Burque Sol 🌶️💛 a tribute to Albuquerque and the sun that fuels their energy.

What started as a one-day collaboration has grown into a full weekend celebrating music, creativity, community, and the artists who continue to shape New Mexico’s cultural landscape.

The NGT Stage is where cultures connect, new artists are discovered, and audiences come together through the power of live music. From Indigenous voices to regional favorites, we’ll be showcasing an unforgettable lineup that crosses genres and generations.
