I just wanted to share a little about myself and who I am!

I’m Amanda, owner of Rustic Roots Salon and Chasing Flavors. I’m a hairstylist, baker, wife of nearly 17 years, and mama to 4 amazing kids. As a proud military spouse after my husband’s 20.5 years in the Air Force, supporting and giving back to the military community holds a special place in my heart. I love creating beauty through hair, baking from the heart, volunteering in my community, and helping others whenever I can. I truly believe what goes around comes around, and that kindness can go a long way. Whether it’s donating meals, baked goods, supporting local families, or simply making someone feel cared for in my chair, or enjoying desserts for their special life moments/celebrations, my goal is to leave people feeling valued, beautiful, and loved.

Hair refresh

We started with an Olaplex pretreatment to help remove build up before color. After removing the damaged ends and evening out the shape, I custom color melted her hair to create a softer, more blended grow out.

Her natural level 5 root was softened with a permanent level 7 root melt, blended into level 8 mids and finished with a demi level 9 gloss on the ends for a creamy beige blonde finish. The result is softer, and much more dimensional while still being low maintenance as her natural root grows in.

After processing, I rinsed and applied Olaplex No. 2 with a relaxing scalp massage, followed by an Olaplex mask to restore moisture and shine. To finish the experience, my client enjoyed a complimentary paraffin hand dip while I blow dried and styled her hair.

Dimensional blonde transformation

Started with an Olaplex chelating pretreatment to remove buildup and create a clean foundation for the color service. Gave her a fresh trim to build the shape and overall foundation of the haircut, then brightened the perimeter with fine babylights to soften and break up the chunky blonde pieces.

Melted a level 6 root shade seamlessly into a level 8 mids and ends formula for a softer, more lived in blend with natural depth and dimension. Finished with a level 9 toner to enhance brightness and create a soft creamy blonde around the face.

Completed the service with an Olaplex treatment, deep conditioning mask, and a complimentary paraffin hand dip for the ultimate relaxing experience
