🏃📚Cross country season starts with preparation!
The USATF Cross Country Specialist Course is designed to help coaches build their knowledge of training, race and athlete development through instructor-led virtual sessions on Zoom.

🐻 Former Baylor Track & Field NCAA 100m champion and two-time World Athletics 🥉 bronze medalist, Trayvon Bromell, talked to us about how, at 30 years old, he's been able to keep returning to the track after battling multiple injuries and his speedy, 🌬️ wind-aided 9.85 🥇in the 100m at the USA Track & Field Lone Star Grand Prix.
Bromell, beat 2021 Olympic 200 champ and 100 bronze medalist Andre De Grasse of 🇨🇦Canada and reigning world champion Oblique Seville of 🇯🇲Jamaica, who were both timed in 9.91. De Grasse got the nod for second by .003 seconds as the top eight finishers all broke 10 seconds!🔥

🤩2024 Olympic champion 🏆 Gabby Thomas stopped to talk with us after she dazzled the crowd Saturday at the USA Track & Field Lone Star Grand Prix at Texas A&M's E.B. Cushing Stadium, clocking a 🌎world-leading 21.70!🔥
Thomas, who took🥇in the 200 and on the U.S. 4x100 and 4x400 relays in Paris, ran the eighth fastest time ever by an 🇺🇸American woman 👀 and won by .37 over Kayla White🥈, who snagged the runner-up spot with a season best of 22.07. 🇳🇬Nigeria's Favour Ofili also closed quickly to take 🥉 in 22.15, .01 in front of Cambrea Sturgis.
🤠Great talking with our 4x400🏆 Olympic/world champion Bryce Deadmon at the USA Track & Field Lone Star Grand Prix . He ran a season best of 44.74 to take 🥈 in the 400m.
In May, Deadmon, a former Texas A&M Track & Field/Cross Country Aggie and NCAA Track & Field All American, led 🇺🇸Team USA to win 🥇 in a meet record time of 3:07.47 in the mixed 4x400 at the World Relays in 🇧🇼Botswana, which qualified them for the World Athletics Championships to be held in Beijing next year.
