UNM Report: State needs to "seize the moment" on creative economy.
"the arts and culture industry employs 43,031 people and accounts for 1 in 18 jobs in the state. That’s about the same number of jobs as the state’s construction industry offers and 50 percent more than the manufacturing industry has."
UNM report: State needs to ‘seize the moment’ on creative economy A new report by The University of New Mexico’s Bureau of Business and Economic Research recommends that the state do more to foster the growth of the creative economy to help power New Mexico out of the recession.
