β€œUpdate from Amalia:
My dear friends and family, it has been a while since you have heard from us. You know what they say, no news is good news. It has gotten harder to get out of bed and I have had quite a bit of pain. It seems the chemo has stopped working. We have tried everything to stop or at least slow it down but there is no stopping it. Now it's a matter of being in hospice.

This means I will probably pass sometime this summer so we still have some time. This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Without each and every one of you it would be impossible.”
