Janette and Lucy delivered our Mother’s Day purses to Casa Fortaleza! The employees were really excited as they know from the past what beautiful gifts we bring for their clients. ,

Beautiful Kleenex fabric cases! Maria and friends of Thimbleweed Quilters made them especially for our purses and we are thankful for their creations to put in our purse gifts. ,

Never underestimate the power of women, especially women who pray! We experienced this first hand last weekend at the Women's May Luncheon for , Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Then, when we counted the purses we were reminded again (and again!) Many of the purses were filled with toiletries -- two boxes of them. We welcomed more than 125 purses for our ministry. And, a generous check with ongoing prayers from the event will set us on a successful pathway for this Fall's purse stuffing. Thank you! ,

Huge shout out to the Women of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Women's May Luncheon. Pursonalities Plus ABQ's own Jane Bickelman was the featured speaker. Jane and Mary Ellen were table guests of Amy R, pastor's wife. After a tasty lunch, the group adjourned to the sanctuary for the program. The lovely event wrapped up with a car completely full of donations from many generous women. With gratitude and appreciation... , ,
